C W18

The lightweight and compact subwoofer for high demands! The construction is classic, 1 × 18′′ bass-reflex and the design of the highest quality.

What makes the C W18 very special is the high-capacity long-excursion speaker with 100mm voice coil and exceptionally powerful ND drive unit. In addition, the construction of the vents for frequencies in the range of 40Hz with its particularly large diameter ensures a high degree of efficiency and low distortion levels due to minimal losses at the tunnel openings.

Combined with a stand tube (M20 thread), the C W18 make an ideal stand to lift top parts like the C 1 or the C 12 onto the right listening level.

The C W18 is the recommended low-bass extension for the KS AUDIO SAT and SESSION systems. As an unpowered version of the CB 18, the C W18 is driven as an additional subwoofer in SESSION and SAT systems by the

CB 18's additional amplifier channel. However, those who wish to drive the C W18 externally can do so with the
TA 2D amplifier or TA 4D amplifiers with a D MOD or F MOD controller.

The crossover in the C B18 allows the C W18 to be operated as a mono subwoofer: the low bass components of both channels are added and fed to the two bridge power amplifiers via the controller. The stereo signals are still available at the outputs for the tops.

The solid protective grid covers the entire front and is overlaid with acoustic foam, which makes it almost “invisible”. A transport protection cover with four 100mm blue wheels
is available as accessory. The surface has a PU coating that withstands almost any mechanical stress.
