For more than 40 years KS has developed under the leadership of Dieter Klein, the owner of the company, first class sound transmission devices having as ultimate objective a true-to-life and pure reproduction of sound. Numerous innovative ideas, inventions and patents have manifested the reputation of KS as one of the technological leaders for "PA Systems", the term which has been established by KS for an entire line of business. All KS products offer to the modern sound engineer universal tools of uncompromising design with highest sound accuracy which are designed on the basis of accurate specifications for sound neutrality.

Each field of application has its special requirements on the PA system. The diversity of KS systems always guarantees a successful application: PA systems for theaters, live-stages, comprehensive PA systems for large rooms, tents or major open-air events with unlimited capacity.

Almost all casings of all KS loudspeaker systems are made of torsion-resistant watertight glued plywood with an extremely robust black PU-coating. The surface can be painted in any shade of color on request. Plastic-coated protective grids made of steel with or without acoustic foam are further features of our first-class products. All relevant options for rigging, stacking and mounting like stand flanges, mounting thread for flying points or angle joints for line arrays are integrated in the systems. The electronic system of the self-powered versions is countersunk in the casing and is thus protected in an optimum way. The amplifiers operate with a high efficiency and do not need a cooling fan which often proves to be disturbing.

Digital differential frequency cross-over units and individually calibrated FIR filter stages are precisely adjusted to the loudspeakers, and limiters provide a safe operation. High-resolution converters and fast processors offer a signal processing of highest studio quality. Standard Ethernet interfaces allow for remote monitoring, control and software updates. The power supply packs with power factor correction operate without changeover in all AC networks from 110 to 240 V. The starting current is electronically limited. The same criteria also apply for our 19" power amplifiers. Their controller units and the software complement passive KS systems to perfect sound transmission devices.
