KS Audio has established a reputation as a producer of excellent line array systems for professional users. With the C LINE B, KS Audio sets the benchmark in compact Line Array systems, a system that meets the highest requirements for high sound quality.

The system comprises two 8′′ neodymium speakers with fiber-reinforced membrane and a driver with 1.75′′ mylar ring diaphragm. The 1.75” diaphragm radiates into KS own highly accurate waveguide.

Another special feature of the C LINE B is that it can be ordered in two versions. A standard version with a vertical spread of 7.5° for an array or part of an array that curves little, and optional a version with 15° vertical spread for an array or part of an array that hangs at greater angles.

For almost all applications, the standard 7.5° version is sufficient. The
C LINE B with 15° vertical spread is intended for line array setups that may consist of few elements but still require a large vertical coverage. The
C LINE B with 15° vertical spread is also an excellent solution for line arrays that radiate mainly into the nearfield, such as in-fill applications, under balcony or in the corner of walls and ceiling.

Because of its unprecedented sound quality, the C LINE B is also the choice for use in Theatres and other spacious venues where no compromise is made. In addition, the C LINE B is compact so that it doesn’t detract from the stage image. In addition to the typically flown version, the C LINE B can also be easily used as a ground stack in combination with KS Subwoofers.

The combination of the individual elements into a line array and the

dispersion behaviour versus frequency response at different angles were fundamentally researched by KS AUDIO during the development of the C LINE B. It results in exact presets that make it very easy for the user to configure the Array. These presets are available to the user in the KS F MOD module. The flyware requires no external components and is easily and securely locked in position by ball lock pins.

As with all KS systems, the cabinet construction is made of multi-layered birch plywood with a textured plastic coating. Steel protection grilles with or without acoustic foam are further features of this high-quality product. The Flyware requires no external components and is simply and securely locked in place with ball lock bolts.

A KS AUDIO CA 4D or TA 4D amplifier with F MOD DSP controller can drive up to 16 elements. However, for an accurate correction of the frequency characteristics over the entire array, we recommend using multiple amplifiers. The processing of elements that are more curved relative to each other is quite different from that of elements that are less angled relative to each other. KS AUDIO provides a different preset for each angle.

The Cradle RIG CP and the Flyware are compatible with the C WH, C SUB or P WK subwoofers. This makes it easy to create a, with subwoofer, combined array. KS AUDIO also recommends the above subwoofers to fly in the array. For subwoofers that remain on the floor, the U SUB, T SUB and P SUB are also considered.

Furthermore, the C LINE B can be perfectly combined with P LINE arrays that use the same fly material.
