SESSION 3 - maximum performance for the demanding musician!

One of the most successful systems by KS AUDIO is the SAT 3– a concept which has been developed more than 30 years ago, was often copied and nowadays represents the embodiment of a small PA with active mono-subwoofer. With the wish of many of our customers who loved the music experience of our SAT 3 set but asked for more power, we designed a dream system, the SESSION 3 based on the CB 18 subwoofer for the most demanding musician.

C 12 full-range.

The tops are the C 12, used in this combination as a passive full-range system. This highly balanced system is not only a real workhorse with unprecedented power, but is also praised by our customers for its unique HDSP™ waveguide. The HDSP™ principle has become a must for many of our users as a mid-high unit in 2-way systems. The woofer is a 12" with 4" voice coil, the ring diaphragm driver is a respectable 3" in diameter

The enclosure is made of PU-coated multiplex boards with stand flange, threads, protective grating, molded recesses and large ventilation ports. In/out speakON NL4.

CB 18 subwoofer.

The active subwoofer of the SESSION 3 is the CB 18, a vented design with an 18" ND chassis with a 4" voice coil. The 1200W chassis offers a completely distortion-free transmission even of sub-lows.
The 2000Wrms DSP controller amplifier is recessed into the woofer cabinet in such a way as to create an easily accessible sloping front plate without protruding controls and to ensure unhindered cooling of the three power amplifiers. KS AUDIO has thus responded to the request of many users to dispense with active cooling and thus avoid annoying fan noise.

Similar to all KS AUDIO systems the enclosure is made of birch multiplex boards, which is unsusceptible to mechanical and chemical impacts. Moulded recesses, a stand flange with M20 thread, stacking feet, protective grating and optionally a transport protection cover with rolls are further features of this premium product.
