S LINE

The ultra-compact Line Arrayelement S-Line offers a multitude of technical innovations for simple standard application and best possible sound reinforcement performance.

Due to the asymmetrical radiation, the axis shifts 5° towards the centre of the room if the S LINE is used as a line array. This reduces disturbing reflections caused by blasting on walls. If the S LINE is used vertically, for example as a cluster of three or four, the axis points downwards.

The S LINE is available in narrow and wide versions with 100° x 20° and
100° x 7° dispersion angles respectively.

The fully integrated fly-ware is recessed into the housing. It is connected to the next element or to the flying frame without any loose parts. The angle may still retains adjustable.

The HF unit is formed by a driver with ring membrane whose energy radiates directly into the waveguide. This is a new way of converting energy to a cylindrical wavefront. This results in an unsurpassed linear and distortion-free high-frequency behavior. The DSP of the controller integrates system equalization with FIR filter, crossover network, subsonic filter, limiter the time alignment. Beyond that, the controllers offer additional benefit: The required pre-equalizations for line-arrays of different lengths and splay are available as presets and can be chosen in a very simple way. The performance of all drivers of the S LINE is generated by KS amplifiers CA4D with state-of-the-art controllers. A sine power of 200W/ 16Ohm is available for the two 6“ chassis and of 80W/ 16Ohm for the high frequency driver. An amplifier operates in 2-way active mode up to eight S LINE elements generating more than 130dB SPL.

A particularly user-friendly innovation is the splay angle adjustment mechanism: all parts are completely recessed in the housing - you do not need any additional connecting elements.

An adapter frame is available for combo with bigger C or P LINE elements.

Used as stand-alone unit S-LINE is excellently suitable for speech reinforcement. The narrow and tilt vertical splay-prevents interferences in delay units.

Used in a line array configuration or vertically clustered, the S LINE is also capable of trouble-free complex dynamic music reproduction.

The cabinet is made of multi-layered, waterproof glued birch multiplex and has a structured polyurethane coating. A steel grille, covered with acoustic fleece, protects the high-quality components.
